Kahn Academy

With my experience with coding and graphics, making interactive graphics for the web using code seemed like it might be a good fit for me. Kahn Academy was one of the earliest sites I played with to get my feet wet in that area. Although I grew tired of it’s proprietary Processing.js approach, the samples I made still work, many are interactive and some of them are kind of fun.

edabit.com

I wanted to boost my skills with Javascript, and one of the better online learning sites I’ve found is edabit.com. They offer tutorials and coding challenges in several languages. Unfortunately I cannot link directly to my coding examples on that site, as they don’t allow others to see my work without registering and going through the exercises.
